Service Technician Certification Program

WHAT IS IT?

The STCP is a three-tiered testing process. The three levels of program certification are Certified Technician, Advanced Certified Technician and Master Certified Technician. Individual technicians achieve certifications by successfully passing certification tests; the factory tracks the technician’s progress and awards certifications.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CERTIFICATION?

  • Increase the performance of individual dealer service technicians.
  • Raise the overall efficiency, knowledge and skill levels
  • Recognize top-performing Vermeer Midwest technicians

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES IN EACH CERTIFICATION?

Certified Technicians

  • Online training course
  • Instructor-led training
  • Completion of the certification test

Advanced Certified Technicians 

  • Completion and passing of two segment track tests

Master Certified Technicians 

  • Completion and passing of 3 segment track tests
  • Upon test completion, tech will attend the week long hands-on training even in Pella, IA
  • After passing both, the tech will be recognized as a Vermeer Master Certified Technician
