Compost Turners
Vermeer Midwest brings the recycling process full circle,
combining its industry-leading tub and horizontal grinders
with a complete line of powerful and efficient compost turners.
Elevating face technology lifts and tumbles compost material
before discharging it at the rear of the machine, aerating
each windrow with more oxygen for faster composting. Choose
a self-propelled turner or a fully powered tow unit with a
pivoting tongue, to position the turner in the windrow while
keeping the towing vehicle safely beside it.
Compost Turners feature:
- Faster productivity: from waste to product in a fraction of the normal time
- Longer flails that turn more material per windrow
- Sealed drum bearings to isolate bearings from the material
- Fluid coupled drums to minimize overheating
- Tethered remote control for easy operation from a towing vehicle
